Each day I marvel at the number of people I have had the
privilege to reach through my work, however "my greatest gift." has
been the people and their children who have touched mine, thank you for
your wonderful gifts! In rememberence of our son, Jeremiah Ochoa.
Have
you ever experienced such joy that it moved you to tears? Have you ever
wanted have children so badly it hurt your heart? Lost an expected
child? Do you remember seeing your first sonogram? Have you ever wept
with a client as they shared with you how your product has touched their
life? I may not be able to articulate how pure joy feels, nor describe
the emotions associated with having or losing children, but I can tell
you how Images By Ellyn products came to be.

Fourteen
years ago, my sister was in the process of dealing with a very
difficult pregnancy. Doctors feared the baby would not make it into this
world. We all feared "the sonogram may be all we might ever have of
this child." As I was internalizing the loss of my own child, I
surrendered and asked God for guidance of how I could serve my sister
and heal my own pain.
After seeing the familiar image in the little handmade
frame, my sister said, "It seem the little butterfly inside me was
taking shape and I realized for the very first time, I was going to be a
mother." The framed image gave her continual hope for a healthy and
safe pregnancy. She was overwhelmed and touched by this gift and as a
result, "sold a bunch of these to her friends and co-workers." Her
referrals made me realize that I could actually create a business
framing sonograms.

With $264.00 to my name and a good idea, Images By Ellyn was born. Our company creates products for people who are expecting a
baby and want to exhibit the very first photos taken of their child- a sonogram. We are represented in 50 states and have touched so many lives. I feel chosen and blessed to be able to do this.
Although I still cannot have children and I deal daily
with the loss of my child. I feel so complete as a woman. I get to live
with a purpose everyday! I realize the level of reward for me is a
connection with all kinds of women: new mothers, wise women,
grandmothers and women of lost children. I personally have been touched
on such a deep spiritual level through the development and success of my
company.
Again I ask you, have you ever experinced such a joy that
it moved you to tears? As you can see, I get to experience this feeling
daily because I am doing what I love and am making a difference in
someone's life everyday. Every single one of these children in these
little frames is a miracle. And that for me, is pure joy.
This birthing process has been one of surrender, pain,
loss, joy and purpose. I feel blessed to have been inspired by God and
am grateful to all those who inspired and supported me along my
remarkable journey. |
